Welcome to the Shinerama Blog!

The Shinerama Blog officially launched! This will be place for all things Shinerama to be shared, and it is very exciting to see what all of the amazing things that the passionate students and volunteers across Canada will accomplish this year for Shinerama.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. There is currently no cure for CF. Over 35,000 student volunteers from 60 Canadian universities and colleges across Canada come together every year to make a difference in the lives of those battling CF. Students are shining shoes, flipping burgers, washing cars, and doing whatever it takes to raise crucial funding and awareness to fight CF. Since 1964, Shinerama has raised nearly $25 million dollars for life-saving CF research and care. Shinerama relies on the generous support of our volunteers, donors, and partners in our shared mission to improve the lives of Canadians living with CF, and to ultimately find a cure or control for this devastating disease.

Thank you for all of that you have done, and let’s make CF stand for “Cure Found”!
